SIMOCODE
Industrial plants are becoming increasingly more complex and require motor management systems which are able preserve and present data for safe and reliable operations. SIMOCODE manages low-voltage motors with protection, monitoring and control functions while providing reliable motor management. SIMOCODE pro optimizes the link between the control system and the motor feeder, increases plant availability and allows significant savings to be made during installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance.
The SIMOCODE portfolio is broken into three management controllers:
SIMOCODE pro S: The basic model, ideal for entry-level motor management
SIMOCODE pro V: Provides even more versatility and functional scope
SIMOCODE M-CP: Compact device for withdrawable units
SIMOCODE pro range
SIMOCODE pro S
The entry-level product in motor management is the smart and compact SIMOCODE pro S. It meets the most important basic requirements for control, monitoring and motor protection within the SIMOCODE pro system. It enables a cost-effective start in motor management and reduces space requirements in the control cabinet, thanks to its narrow enclosure of only 22.5mm wide. The communication to the basic unit is via ProfiBUS.
Simple, intuitive engineering thanks to integration into the SIMOCODE ES 2007 and SIMOCODE ES V12 (TIA Portal) software.
SIMOCODE pro V
SIMOCODE pro V provides even more versatility with various communication protocols to the basic unit. As an intelligent and variable motor management system for low-voltage motors, SIMOCODE pro V system offers even more functional scope. The basic unit offers a maximum of five expansion modules and includes additional functions such as voltage and active power measuring, fail-safe disconnection and connection to ProfiBUS, ProfNET, ModBUS RTU and EtherNet/IP.
SIMOCODE M-CP
SIMOCODE M-CP has been optimized for use in the motor control centres. The device can be mounted on a front panel or a DIN rail. Six digital inputs and four relay outputs eliminate the need for additional modules.
The compact device easily fits into the withdrawable unit and allows for flexible replacement and expandability. Additional device functions can be activated in future by purchasing licenses that are transferred to the device, which is ideal for adapting the performance range of the devices to different areas of application and changing requirements.
SIMOCODE M-CP can be parameterized and monitored with password protection via the Web server integrated in the basic unit, with no additional software required.
By measuring and providing electrical data, SIMOCODE M-CP supports higher-level energy monitoring and energy management that can identify potential savings and derive optimization measures.
